Vernon Communications is a member-owned co-op that provides internet, TV, and phone services to rural communities in Wisconsin. They focus on keeping people connected and making sure their neighbors have access to the technology they need to stay informed and in touch.
Our partnership with Vernon Communications goes back many years. It began with publishing their local phone book and has grown into a trusted relationship. Over time, we’ve collaborated on everything from postcards and calendars to channel guides, billboards, and more. When the time came to refresh their website, VernonCom turned to us once again.

The Challenge
In 2024, Vernon Communications Co-op began rebranding under their new name “VernonCom.” With that change came a fresh logo, updated colors, and new fonts. While the rebrand itself was developed with a different company, VernonCom turned to Pinnacle Marketing Group to bring that new look to life on their website. Rather than completely rebuilding their website, they were looking for a more efficient solution that would showcase the updated brand. Since customer service is a top priority for VernonCom, the website also needed to reflect that with a friendly, helpful, and easy-to-use design.

The Strategy
Pinnacle Marketing Group worked with VernonCom to refresh the website by applying the new logo, colors, and fonts across the existing layout. The goal was to keep the structure and usability that already worked well while giving the entire site a modern, cohesive look.
We also updated the content to make it clearer and more organized. Interactive graphics and a simplified layout helped make the site more engaging and user-friendly. The result was a refreshed website that looked new but still felt familiar to returning visitors.
To support the rebrand rollout, we launched a Facebook ad campaign that introduced the new branding to their audience and helped drive traffic back to their refreshed site.

The Results
The updated site was a success. Customers found it easier to navigate, and the refresh gave the brand a more polished and modern presence. VernonCom received positive feedback from both new and long-time users. Internally, the team felt confident that the website aligned with their refreshed identity and continued to reflect their strong commitment to service.
The Facebook ad campaign, which ran from August 21st to September 25th, generated 62,845 impressions, reached 28,837 people, and resulted in 33 link clicks from users engaging with the ad. It helped build awareness around the rebrand and extended the impact of the website launch across VernonCom’s online audience.
In the end, VernonCom got the best of both worlds. They launched a fresh brand presence without the time and cost of a full website rebuild and saw stronger engagement as a result.
