Offer Curbside Pickup. Businesses other than restaurants can offer curbside pickup and it can be a fully contactless experience. Consumers will place and pay for their orders online through your website, over the phone, or by text. The business will let the consumer know they received the order via email or text, and alert them to when the order is ready for pickup. Together you will discuss when the best time for you to pick up the order is, and any instructions needed for the pickup. When the customer shows to pick up the order, have an employee place the item in the trunk.

Offer Same-day Home Delivery. Have designated employees deliver products directly to the consumer’s home. Supply your employees with the protective gear needed to make sure they are safe. When delivering an order, call the customer, and set up a good time for the delivery to take place. Once there, leave the delivery at the doorstep and ring the doorbell as you leave so they know you left their package for them.

Accept Touch-free Payments. Having a touch-free payment system set up is vital for making sure transactions are performed safely and efficiently. Having an app like PayPal can make this incredibly easy and the instructions can be found HERE. Selling your products on Social Media is also an easy option. This can be done if you want to start selling your items quickly, but don’t have a website. Using the PayPal app will help you list and maintain your products for your customers.
